The University of Southern Mississippi’s Art and Design department welcomed all to view their annual Open House event this past Friday.  

The event informed any incoming or prospective students of all emphasis that the department has to offer, such as Painting and Drawing, Sculpture and Ceramics, and Graphic Design. While allowing any current USM students to highlight their work and answer any other questions that may arise. The event was held in the George Hurst’s Gallery of Art and Design and is still open for public viewing.   

“Get lost with us in the world of Art + Design and find the future you have been dreaming of! Attend our Open House to learn more about our Art BA and each of our emphasis areas that are at the heart of our program, including Painting and Drawing, Sculpture and Ceramics, and Graphic Design. Meet with faculty and students and ask any questions you might have about becoming a Golden Eagle.”
