WUSM 88.5 FM, the voice of the students at the University of Southern Mississippi, is hosting a new kind of news show featuring what’s on the minds of students and what’s important to them. The show is a live focus group on the frontier of society, a way to eavesdrop on the thoughts and concerns of the next generation. Called News You Need, the show will be hosted by a School of Media and Communication faculty member who leads the discussion and introduces issues and headlines the students may not have considered. This podcast is a version of the show aired each Friday at 12:30 p.m. during the academic year.
