7Brew, one of the fastest growing coffee shops in the nation, opened their first Hattiesburg location on September 15. Located on US-98 near Hobby Lobby in West Hattiesburg, the coffee shop is known for its distinct “7 Flavors” and twin drive-thru system. To commemorate the opening, a $14,000 check was presented to the Hub City Humane Society from 7Brew, to support operation of the animal shelter. One of 7Brew’s missions is to be community driven, so the donation was happily accepted.
The event featured remarks from Mason Simmons, Director of Development for 7Brew “7Brew is centered around the customers, from the twin drive-thrus to the service we pride ourselves in bringing.”
7Brew has a limited yet extensive menu, with coffees, teas, energy drinks, and smoothies that can be compiled for over 20,000 drink combinations. Among their specialties are the “7 Originals,” which are seven types of unique coffee mixes for customers.
7Brew One, the official name of the new location, manager Seth Miles also expanded on the importance of what 7Brew does.
“If you go to any other coffee shop, you’re not going to get the close, personal experiences that we have here. We may have a large staff and customer group, but we’re also interested in making happy regulars out of all our customers.”
A second 7Brew location is on the way for Hattiesburg, which will be located next door to Cook-Out, bringing a new coffee option to Southern Miss students.
