Eagle Dining is starting off the fall semester with more than just meals from the Fresh Food Company. They are launching a “Just Like Home Recipe Contest” for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Eagle Dining encourages students, faculty and staff to choose their favorite recipe from home whether it is from a cookbook or their own culinary creation. Recipes may come from any meal category. The top five finalists will be featured in a cookbook at the end of the spring 2015 semester. Eagle Dining will also give finalists the opportunity to have their recipes served in The Fresh Food Company on the last Friday of every month.

A combined-committee of Dining services, students and university staff will judge the recipes according to taste, originality, ease of preparation, cost per serving and appearance.

Submissions should include the following:

-Recipe name

-Ingredient list and measurements

-Instructions

-Entrant’s name, phone and e-mail address
