Student arrested for flamingo theft creates online fundraiser
Devin Nottis is reaching out to the internet to raise funds for his legal fees.
Devin Nottis created an online donation campaign through a popular fundraising website in hopes of raising $5,000 for his defense. $30 has been donated to his campaign.
Nottis’ bond was set at $17,300 for grand larceny, two counts of animal cruelty and trespassing.
Nottis gained national attention after allegedly kidnapping a flamingo from the Hattiesburg Zoo.
